Evan Owens is a strategist and a master's in communication candidate at Georgia State University. His mission is to deliver quality solutions for individuals and organizations facing problems in their industry. Whether consulting to create business plans, facilitating training for leadership panels, developing communication plans and more. Owens is a dynamic leader with over 8 years of experience in the entertainment industry and became a member of the Recording Academy, better known as the Grammys, in 2022.

Owens was appointed lead consultant by classmates to facilitate all interactions virtually with the non-profit client ECO-Action. Owens led his team on strategy and formatting the communications plan and the presentation to the client.

Owens was tasked with coming up with a business plan for a media-based business. He conducted market research and devised several methods for a new digital media business to find a niche and break through the noise in the current podcasting market.

Owens was appointed lead strategist by his team and facilitated an internal and external audit report for the client UPS. Owens led his squad in auditing over 40 client communications via social media, email and websites. He also led the presentation, delivering the team’s overall findings.

Owens studied abroad in Quebec City, Canada, in the Summer of 2023. He wrote two features about interesting places unique to the Quebec City area and interviewed several local sources, bringing the stories to life.

Owens was tasked with developing two leadership trainings for 30++ incoming orientation leaders. He created presentations from scratch via his life coaching certification background and facilitated several successful workshops for the leaders during their spring training in 2023.
The training made collaboration, change and trust amongst the new team, which assisted them throughout the summer orientation season.
